ଭାଗ ଚାଷ ଦେଲେ ମାଲିକକୁ ବିଶେଷ ଲାଭ ମିଳେ ନାହିଁ । ଜମି ମଧ୍ୟ କ୍ରମଶଃ ଖରାପ ହୋଇଯାଏ ।
ନିଜର ଆଗ୍ରହ ସହିତ ପରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ବଂଶଧରଙ୍କୁ ଚାଷ ପ୍ରତି ଆକୃଷ୍ଟ କରିବା ଦରକାର । କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ଜମି ଚିହ୍ନି ନ ଥିଲେ ଭବିଷ୍ୟତରେ ବହୁ ଅସୁବିଧାର ସମ୍ମୁଖୀନ ହେବେ ।
ଚାଷ ବିଜ୍ଞାନ ହେଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଚାଷୀ ଚାଷ କଳା ଶିଖିବା ଦରକାର । ଏହି କଳା ବା କୌଶଳ ନ ଜାଣିଲେ ଚାଷୀ ଚାଷରୁ ବିଶେଷ ଲାଭବାନ୍ ହୋଇ ପାରେନା ।
Was born on 15.03.1965 in Bishnupur Bindha village of Bhadrak District. He has studied in Okara High School Arnapal Bhadrak, in Bhadrak College & B.Sc (Ag) from O.U.A.T,Bhubaneswar & Post graduate in Agriculture Entomology from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vidyalaya, Nadia, West Bengal. He joined in Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment on 2.6.91 and serving till now. Mr. Patra has created a new dimension in Agricultural Extension i.e. lyrical technology. He has written more than 10000 nos, of lyrics on Agriculral technology. He has written more than 30 nos. of Books on Agriculture & Odia language. He has translated the Noted Book of Rabindra Nath Tagore “Gitanjali” to odia language.
Mr. Arun Kumar Patra is an approved lyricist in All India Radio & Doordarshan since 1993 signing an agreement on behalf of President of India. Mr. Patra for his numerous agricultural poems is honoured as “Krushi Kabi"( Agriculture Poet) of Odisha in 2014. He is a regular Commentator of Puri Rathayatra of Lord Jagannatha. For his ceaseless effort in agriculture & literacy work Mr. Patra has been felicitated by a no of cultural organisation. In 2022 he has been awarded by “Nirada Prava Geeti Kabi Samman’ for his literacy lyrical creation in odia language Mr. Patra is a social worker. He has edited & published books of economically weak writers “Prakruti Bandhu O Manababandhu Mayadhar" a Biography of an Environmentalist in Bhadrak District Mr. Mayadhar Kar,and “Bhagabat O Purana Katha” on spiritual books of Mrs. Kanakalata Rout has been edited by him. He has established a music School at Arnapal,Bhadrak in the name of noted person Natyacharya Raghunath Panda where a number of children learning music & dance by Expert Teachers. Mr. Patra has constructed a Krushak Mandap in his village serving as a rest place of village farmers & has created drinking water facility by installation of tube well.
Mr. Arun Kumar Patra is a philanthropic person, a writer, a poet and a social worker . His life is dedicated for the welbeing of persons around him in the society.

'Arun Krushi Vachana' as a new book of the century can be accused. Its taste is only for sophisticated readers Hope it gives enough pleasure. This book is about the zaminabadi of Purapalli, Odisha. I was very happy to be able to go to every farmer and every village. I will be and I will know that the work has been done.
